Fitted carpet
We clean fitted carpet when it is technically suitable. The price depends on the area and condition, so we quote from photos and approximate measurements.
Which rugs we clean
- Polyester, polypropylene and other synthetic rugs
- Short or long pile rugs
- Round rugs
- Wool rugs, with caution: wool tolerates moisture and heat less well
- Runners and entrance rugs
Before starting, we check colourfastness and fibre type. Some rugs shouldn't be treated with water; we tell you from the photos.
How we clean a rug
- Vacuuming of dust and loose dirt.
- Check of colour, backing and stains.
- Pre-treatment of stains and dirty areas.
- Hot-water extraction.
- Drying guidance.
Drying
Rugs usually take longer than a sofa, typically 24 to 48 hours depending on thickness, ventilation and temperature. We recommend leaving it in a ventilated place and not walking on it until it is dry.
What to expect
Rugs hold deep dirt that you can see in the extraction water. Old stains, moisture rings or sun fading may not come out completely. We don't promise that every stain will disappear.
