Leather
We do not clean leather. We work with fabric upholstery.
What we check before cleaning
- Fibre type: synthetic, natural or blend.
- Care label: indicates the manufacturer's recommended method.
- Colourfastness: that the colour doesn't bleed when moisture touches it.
- Moisture tolerance: some fabrics and fillings are damaged by too much water.
- Existing damage: wear, rubbing, fading.
- Previous treatments: home products that have left residue.
Care labels
They are usually under a cushion or under the seat. If you find it, photograph it and send it to us.
| Code | Usual meaning |
|---|---|
| W | Can be cleaned with water-based products |
| S | Solvent only, not water |
| WS | Water or solvent |
| X | Vacuum only, no liquids |
If your sofa is "S" or "X", we tell you clearly before accepting the job.
What to expect
The result depends on the fabric, the dirt and what has been done before. We aim for the best result the material can safely allow.
