What to do in the first minutes
- Blot with kitchen paper or a clean cloth, pressing down. Don't rub.
- Move to a clean area of the cloth so you don't spread the wine.
- Apply a little cold water only if the fabric tolerates moisture; don't soak.
- Don't use bleach or alcohol.
- Don't apply heat.
- Take a photo and message us.
What not to do
- Rubbing: spreads the stain and pushes it deeper.
- Pouring on lots of salt, bicarbonate or vinegar: can leave residue or marks.
- Bleach: discolours the fabric.
- Hairdryer or iron: sets the stain.
How we treat it
- We look at the fabric and the age of the stain.
- We test the product on a hidden spot if needed.
- We pre-treat the stain.
- We extract with hot water.
- We repeat if necessary and the fabric allows it.
What result to expect
- Fresh stain: usually improves a lot or comes out.
- Days or weeks old: usually improves, perhaps a shadow remains.
- Old or treated with strong products: the result is uncertain.
- Light fabrics: wine stains more; the result depends a lot on the fibre.
We don't promise to remove the stain completely.
Price
Stain treatment is included in the furniture cleaning price: from €65 for a 2-seat sofa, plus a €30 travel fee per order. Pricing.
Frequently asked questions

We clean the whole sofa so no rings are left around the treated area.
