What to do straight away
- Blot the coffee with paper or a clean cloth, without rubbing.
- Repeat with clean areas of the cloth until no more liquid comes out.
- Don't soak: extra moisture causes rings.
- Don't use bleach or strong products.
- Take a photo and message us.
Why it leaves a ring
Coffee spreads through the fabric as it gets wet. If you only try to remove it from the visible part, a ring forms at the edge. That is why it helps to treat the whole area and dry it evenly.
Coffee with milk, sugar or cream
Milk and sugar make it harder: they leave greasy, sticky components. Milk can also develop an odour over time. Tell us what was spilled.
How we treat it
- We identify the fabric and the type of stain.
- We pre-treat the area.
- We extract with hot water.
- We extract the surrounding area to avoid rings.
- We treat again if needed and the fabric allows.
What result to expect
- Recent: usually comes out or improves a lot.
- Old or repeated: a shadow may remain.
- With milk or sugar: may need more treatment.
